California notaries may not provide legal advice or answer questions about a legal matter.
California notaries may not prepare a document or give advice on how to fill out, draft or complete a document.
California notaries may not choose the particular document a customer may need for a transaction.
California notaries may not choose the type of notarization or certificate wording for a given document. The customer must decide.
CANCELLATION SCHEDULE
Client no-shows or refuses to sign 100% of the fee.
Client cancellation within 6 hours of the appointment time; 100% of the fee.
Client cancellation within 18 hours of confirmed appointment time; 50% of the fee.
Notary cancels any confirmed appointment, no fee.
If resigning is necessary due to a notary error or omission, no additional fee is required.
