What Forms of ID are Acceptable for Loan Signing?

Congratulations on securing your loan!

We need three things to successfully close. To complete this appointment, we need:

  1. Cashier's check, or

  2. Wire instructions, sent from your lender or title company. Contact them if you haven’t received instructions yet.

  3. Two forms of ID: A primary and a secondary form of ID are both needed from the list below. We cannot proceed without these. See below for acceptable forms of ID.

Acceptable forms of ID include:

PRIMARY

  • Driver's License or ID Card issued by the State of California

  • US Passport or Passport Card

  • Military ID

  • Birth Certificate

  • SSC

  • Resident Alien Card

SECONDARY

  • Social Security Card

  • Gov. Issued Visa

  • Birth Certificate

  • Non-US Drivers License

  • Most recent Signed Tax Return

  • Property Tax Bill

  • Voter Registration Card

  • Organizational Membership Card

  • Bank Investment/Loan Statement

  • Check Stub with name

  • Most recent W-2

  • Home/ Car/Renters Insurance declaration page

  • Recent Utility Bill
